I'm happy to announce African Corner will be selling our sarongs!! The store is run by an awesome guy named Kiro who is very friendly and knowledgeable. His store is located in Costa Mesa near in the DMV. He will be selling the rastafari, reggae, and flag sarongs. Here is a photo of him, his store, and his new sarongs!!

We were at the OC Fair Swapmeet all day Saturday, and boy was it was hot one!!

Our booth was located on a corner spot, near the lemonade stand and Union Bank ATM machine. Many people came to our booth and were interested in the reggae/rasta and flag sarongs. I also sold a few tropical designs and even a Che Guevarra poster. The swapmeet was packed with people and everyone had an icecream or beer in their hand. 

The Modern Sarong will be a regular vendor at the OC Fair Swapemeet. We will try and be present at least two Saturdays or Sundays every month. 

Our first flea market was held January 31st, 2011 - and boy was it a success! Unfortunately, our day was cut short due to heavy rain around noon, but we still managed to get our first sale! The buyer was really interested in our Che design and ended up buying it!  Below is a picture of our first customer:

This coming Saturday, February 12th, 2011, we will be hosting our second flea market at OCC. We will be much more prepared, organized, and most of all - ready for any torrential downpours!
